Our services are available to individuals aged 18 or over, or those with legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Thai law. By enquiring, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Services

Ubon provides family legal services in Thailand. Our three service offerings, as described on our website, are indicative of the scope of work we undertake. The precise scope, timeline, and deliverables for your matter will be agreed in a separate engagement letter before work begins.

Our services are available to individuals located in Thailand or with matters subject to Thai family law. We do not accept enquiries from jurisdictions where our services cannot lawfully be provided.

4. Your Responsibilities

When using our site or working with us, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in your enquiries and throughout any engagement.
  • Not use our site to transmit harmful, misleading, or unlawful content.
  • Not attempt to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.
  • Respond to our team's requests for information or documentation in a timely manner to allow us to assist you effectively.
  • Keep your own records of communications and documents shared with us.

You may view and print content from this site for your personal, non-commercial reference only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Fees and Payment

The fees for our services are set out on our website and confirmed in your engagement letter. All fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

  • Family Guidance Meeting: ฿2,100 — payable before or at the time of the meeting.
  • Cooperative Arrangement Help: ฿5,800 — a deposit is required upon engagement; the balance is due on completion.
  • Full Family Matter Support: ฿11,600 — a staged payment schedule will be agreed in the engagement letter.

If you need to cancel or postpone an appointment, please inform us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations with less notice may incur a modest cancellation fee, which will be outlined in your engagement letter.

7. Confidentiality

We understand that family matters are deeply personal. All information you share with us is treated with the utmost discretion and held in strict confidence, consistent with our professional obligations under Thai law and legal professional ethics.

Information will only be disclosed to third parties where required by law, by a court order, or with your explicit consent. Our staff are bound by confidentiality obligations and receive training on the appropriate handling of sensitive personal information.

8. Disclaimers

While we take care to keep our website accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that all information is current, complete, or free from error. We reserve the right to update or remove content at any time without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Ubon's liability in connection with these Terms or any services provided shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the relevant service.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of this website or our services, including (without limitation) loss of income, loss of opportunity, or distress caused by circumstances beyond our control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ubon, its staff, and advisors from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our website, or any misrepresentation made to us.

11. Termination

Either party may end a service engagement by giving reasonable written notice, as specified in the relevant engagement letter. Where you have not yet entered an engagement letter, either party may withdraw from discussions at any time without obligation.

Upon termination, any fees for work already carried out will remain payable. Provisions relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, and limitation of liability survive termination of any agreement.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

We encourage you to contact us in the first instance if any concern arises. In many cases, a calm conversation is the most constructive way to resolve a disagreement, and we are always willing to listen.

13. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any signed engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ubon on the matters covered.
  • Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
