About Ubon
Helping Families Find
Their Way Forward
Ubon was built around a single idea: that people facing family matters deserve calm, patient, and genuinely attentive support — not pressure, not complexity.
Our Story
Where Ubon Came From
Ubon started as a small practice in the Lumphini district of Bangkok, founded by a group of legal professionals who had each spent years in larger firms. What they found — repeatedly — was that family matters were handled with the same brisk, transactional energy as commercial work. Something felt wrong about that.
So in 2017, they came together to build something different: a practice where the pace is set by the family, not by billing targets. Where the first question is always "how are you?" rather than "what do you need?"
Today, Ubon works with families at some of the most delicate moments of their lives. We remain a small, careful practice by design — because we believe that attentiveness and good work require limits on scale.

Who You'll Be Speaking With
Our team is intentionally small. Everyone here works directly with clients — there are no layers of intermediaries.

Nattaya is often the first point of contact at Ubon. She ensures that every person who reaches out is received warmly and kept gently informed throughout the process.
How We Work
The Standards We Hold Ourselves To
Client Confidentiality
We follow strict professional confidentiality standards. Nothing you share with us is disclosed without your explicit knowledge and consent.
Thai Bar Association Standards
All legal advisors at Ubon are registered with the Lawyers Council of Thailand and adhere to the professional conduct rules set by Thai law.
Clear Communication
We do not use legal language to confuse or impress. Every explanation is given in plain terms, and we check in with you to make sure things are genuinely understood.
Secure Document Handling
All documents — digital and physical — are handled with care. Access is restricted to those directly involved in your matter, and nothing is kept longer than required.
Ethical Conduct
We do not take on matters where there is a conflict of interest, and we are transparent about what we are able to do before any work begins.
Sensitivity in Practice
Family matters touch on deeply personal things. We treat every situation with the care and respect it deserves, recognising that no two families are the same.
Our Approach
Family law in Thailand requires patience and local knowledge
Thai family law sits at the intersection of civil code, cultural expectation, and personal circumstance. What works in one family's situation may not transfer cleanly to another. That is why Ubon takes time at the outset to understand the particular details of each matter before offering any direction.
Whether a family is navigating a separation, working toward a cooperative arrangement, or seeking formal support through a more involved proceeding, the shape of the path forward depends on the specific facts — not on a standard template. Our work is built around reading those facts carefully and responding to them honestly.
Ubon's office in Lumphini, Bangkok is accessible to families living across the metropolitan area. We also work with families who are based elsewhere in Thailand or internationally, adapting our process where needed to suit location and circumstance.
